About Thomas Barker
General Information
My name is Thomas Barker, I am a professional software engineer with a 1st class degree in computer science. I have had over 6 years of industry experience in a large FTSE 250 defence and technology company.
I am a diverse software engineer who enjoys his job and reads around his subject. I am experienced with software process and am always looking to further educate myself. I am accustomed with many programming languages but consider myself strongest in C++ and C#. I am experienced in many API’s and middle-ware.
I have always had a keen interest in computers and that interest continues today. I give advice and support to software projects outside of work when I have free time in my life.
